The Different Types of Real Estate Frames

There are a few different types of real estate signs that are fairly common. However, they aren’t all created the same. As a realtor, you know just how competitive the current market is. This makes it even more important to stand out. The right real estate frame can help do just that. When you hang a For Sale sign you are also advertising your business. A-Frame

This type of frame can also be referred to as a sandwich board sign. It is a great option for open houses or other events. Because it is self-supporting and rests on the ground, an A-frame isn’t suitable for extended use. They offer high visibility and many times are made even more eye-catching with balloons or other attachments. The plastic variety is optimal as it can be used in all kinds of weather. 

H-Frame

An H-frame sign is comprised of two stakes that can be inserted into the ground. The lightweight sign is then inserted between the two stakes. These signs offer a lot of portability and are inexpensive enough to be used for a mass announcement or campaign. Due to the lightweight nature of an H-frame, they are best used in temporary situations. Open houses are a great option or if a new multi-family building is opening up and you want to canvas the area with signs announcing that it is now open and leasing. 

Signs and Banners

This type of sign is best used for commercial and multi-family residential buildings. They are very visible, especially to folks driving by, and create a sense of excitement around a new building. If you want to announce that a building is completed or has been newly renovated, or you just want to let everyone know that it’s there, this is a great option. Signs and banners that attach directly to the building are a great option as they require little attention after installation. Using a bunch of H-frame signs to complement the signs and banners is a great way to bring even more attention and interest to the building.  

Swing Post Signs

This is the traditional For Sale real estate frame style. A swing post sign is mostly used to announce the sale of residential property. The inverted "L" shape allows the realty company’s sign to be displayed in an easy-to-read manner. And, as the property progresses through the sales process, the sign can be used to provide updated information. The For Sale sign can be updated to read Under Contract and then finally, Sold. Letting people know when a home is sold is great advertising as it lets everyone know that you get results.
